These past few days have been placed under the sign of mourning and reflection.Moebius' death left us all a little bit like orphans on Saturday, March 10. A thread has been opened for illustrators to pay their respects.
Derelict Planet, to be published on April 26th, will remind you by some aspects of the master that just passed away. The 3D illustrations of Pascal Blanché are magical. Inspired like many artists of his generation by Heavy Metal and the work of contemporary authors, Pascal brings his work from screen to paper in his first artbook. With comments from his colleagues and friends. With a foreword by Jon Foster, and another by Jim Burns, the book also presents the working method of Pascal Blanché.
This title is bilingual, English and French.
The 11th of march was a sad aniversary. We thought about the tsunami which took so many lives last year, and from Sendai to Fukushima, the memories of the catastrophe are still hurting, the wounds are not closed, every day brought to another level of pain by the nuclear risks.
We faced reality and responded with action : you can discover Magnitude 9, if you don't have it already. To mark the first anniversary of the disaster, the book is published in Japan with the title Magnitude 0, by our partner Mind Creators LLC. It is available there on the same principles : some of the profits will go to tsunami victims, who are still in need today.
A retrospective article has been published on the tsunami.cfsl.net blog - sorry it's in French.

Tsunami project: € 31,550 For Japan.
The auction took place last Saturday, in the Arludik Gallery in Paris, France. Many people were there : artists, journalists, buyers and a few curious tourists. The atmosphere was bustling, between religious silence, whispers, laughter and applause, the auction was an opportunity to see the forces implemented for the first action for the Japanese people, almost two months after the event.
The balance: € 31,550 which will go directly to Japan. Each artist and buyer will be able to track the effective delivery of the donation.
Our action does not end here! The Tsunami blog is open to artists wishing to participate. In addition an artbook called "Magnitude 9" is in preparation in our studios CFSL INK and its profits will be donated to support Japan. This 250 page book will give you the opportunity to see over 230 original works created around this project, it is already on pre-order on the shop Ankama.
